The Manifesto, Written as a Spec — CAW Protocol's White Paper

CAW began as a manifesto — a dream written down in words, with no team and no roadmap, just an ideal. Now that dream has been written out again, this time as an engineering blueprint: the 'CAW Protocol' whitepaper (a detailed technical spec). ❶ When and where: it was added to the development repository on GitHub (GilgameshCaw/Caw) on May 17, 2026, and shared with the community around the 18th. ❷ What it says, in plain terms: after launch, the creator 'throws away the keys' — so not even they can stop it or change it; a guard called 'PathwayExpander' can only ADD connections to other blockchains, never overwrite existing ones (a safety rule); the system only checks and records, and never decides what you see — all display is left to whatever app or site you use; and the blockchain itself is the real record, while websites are just copies of it. ❸ The important part: this is a blueprint — a plan — not proof that it is finished. It describes how things are meant to work; it is not evidence that such an unstoppable network is actually up and running. In fact CAW's next version (V2) is still in developer testing, with its public release and mainnet both still ahead. Why we saved this: for the first time, the manifesto's dream-in-words has been set down as a real engineering blueprint — and that is a milestone worth marking. A blueprint isn't a building yet; but you can't raise a building without one. 🐦‍⬛
