The Other Half of "teh eyes to see" — "eyes to see" Is an Old, Old Phrase
On the day CAW launched, it wore a single tagline — "teh eyes to see." Most people stop at the first word, "teh." But the three that follow — "eyes to see" — are themselves very old. ❶ The tagline sat on CAW's April 2022 CopperLaunch LBP, where price was first discovered (already on the timeline). ❷ "Eyes to see" recurs through English scripture — e.g. "which have eyes to see, and see not" — an ancient line about having eyes yet not truly looking. The spelling "teh," though, is internet voice, not scripture. ❸ And here is the honest part: no primary source shows the deployer or the manifesto ever quoting scripture. So this is an echo between words, not a proven origin — held gently, not asserted. If it isn't coincidence, perhaps it's a quiet nudge to keep eyes that actually look; but whether you read it that way is left to you. 🐦⬛
