Crescent Moon in Venice? — Two Things the Caption Gets Wrong 🌙

A post by 'Eva McMillan' (@EvasTeslaSPlaid) went viral in the CAW community for three compounding reasons. ❶ 'To the Moon' in Elon's universe: The phrase 'to the moon' (explosive price surge) is Elon's signature crypto rallying cry. Any moon imagery from Elon-adjacent accounts is read as a directional signal by the community. ❷ The influencer's identity: The handle 'EvasTeslaSPlaid' reads as a possessive — Eva's Tesla S Plaid, the Model S Plaid she owns — the kind of name a committed Tesla owner picks. A moon post from that orbit lands as a CAW hint. ❸ The caption doesn't match the photo — the layer that made people look twice: The post claims 'Full moon in Venice, Italy.' Neither half holds. Location: The image shows the famous Yueliangqiao (Crescent Moon Bridge / 月亮橋) at Yongqing Fang, Guangzhou, China — not Venice, Italy. Moon phase: The image shows a crescent reflected in water, not a full moon. That is two mismatches, not three — 'place' and 'country' are the same single fact (Guangzhou is in China, Venice is in Italy), which the retellings count twice. Communities that read in coded signals take a caption this far off as cryptography rather than a careless post. 🔍 Observatory: two inverted facts (location and lunar phase) from an Elon-orbit account are either coincidence or something more intentional — and nothing in the post settles which.
