Three Deposits Stopped at Exactly 0.666 ETH — A Wallet That Has Never Signed Once

Set contracts aside: the CAW deployer has only ever sent CAW directly to two wallets. This is the second. Its ETH balance stopped at exactly 0.666. ❶ On April 19, 2022 at 16:50:23 UTC, this wallet (0x5E70…9b8d) received 2,316,160,983,150 CAW from the deployer — about 2.32 trillion. That number has an origin. Two days earlier, when the launch sale (an LBP) was closed, the unsold CAW had come back to the deployer's hands — and this is that entire remainder, identical down to the smallest on-chain unit. The fraction carried over untouched. Seventeen seconds later, on the very next signature, the deployer followed it with 0.25 ETH. ❷ A second deposit arrived the same night: three hours and nineteen minutes later, 0.05 ETH from a different address. That put the first day's total at exactly 0.300. ❸ One hundred days later, on July 29, 2022, the third and final deposit landed: 0.366 ETH — the exact complement, 0.666 minus 0.300. The total reached 0.666. No ETH has entered or left since. ❹ "Never left" can be said flatly, because this wallet has never signed anything (nonce = 0). Sending costs gas, so a wallet that has never sent has a balance that must equal its deposits to the last unit. And it does: the balance is exactly 0.666 ETH — preserved in the moment it was completed (as of Aug 4, 2026; the CAW still sits at 2,316,160,983,150 as well). ❺ So were the three deposits three strangers who happened to add up? Not as far as the trail goes. The first came from the deployer. The second came from someone who appeared and vanished within about 85 minutes that night — bridge in, issue a token, add liquidity, send 0.05 here, pull the liquidity, bridge out — and the token they issued was named A Dreamers Fever: the same "A + dream" mold as A Hunters Dream. The third came through a throwaway relay whose funding source, within the same four minutes, also paid another wallet that already sits on the CAW fund map. So: one hand belonged to the maker; one drew from the same purse as a wallet already on CAW's map; and the one hand nobody can trace left behind a name cut from CAW's own mold. Strangers by coincidence — the record will not support that. One mind moving three times — the record will not support that either; the second trail crosses a bridge and ends there. Coincidence may simply be too tidy a word for names that line up this well. That is as far as the record lets anyone go. ❻ And 0.666 itself does not belong to this wallet alone. The deployer, too, later sent exactly 0.666 ETH to another wallet. CAW's total supply runs on sixes — 666 trillion. Around whoever made this, the number keeps coming back. Why we saved this: the entire unsold remainder was moved without changing a single decimal; three deposits came, and the last one filled in the exact complement; and the wallet has never once been opened — it holds 0.666 in its completed form. Who finished it, nobody can say. What it is being kept for, nobody can say either. But things that were thrown away do not look like this. A number was chosen, a fraction was preserved, a seal was left unbroken. Around this wallet, what was placed four years ago still sits exactly as it was placed.
