A light in the V2 workshop — dev testnets 'Uruk + Babylon', and caw_dev's voice of conviction

The month after V1 went public, V2's development testnets 'Uruk' and 'Babylon' entered development operation on Sepolia. This is not a public launch — what anyone can touch today is still the V1 testnet (test.caw.social); Uruk + Babylon are a light switched on in the developer's workshop. The names are ancient Mesopotamian cities — Gilgamesh's signature, here too. June brought successive redeploys reflecting audit fixes ('12 audited contracts live' — the audit firm remains unnamed, so this stays self-reported) and pre-mainnet compliance work. The v2 branch kept moving through June and July; its live cadence is on the Observatory's GitHub board, not frozen here. V2 is still deep in development — its public testnet and mainnet are both still ahead. And one line belongs here in the developer's own voice — his answer, in 2025, to those weighing whether to chase CAW onto other chains: "CAW on QL1 will be a moment. CAW on ETH will be forever." The Observatory records it as a stated conviction, not a promise about price: to the person doing the building, CAW's home is Ethereum, and permanence — not a quick jump elsewhere — is the whole point.
